PURPOSE OF MENTORING
Now more than ever the credibility of professional coaches worldwide requires unified alignment with ICF's core coaching competencies. The world
is savvier about professional coaching and its effectiveness for individuals, teams and organizations. As a result they expect professional coaches to consistently apply the coaching paradigm and rigorous standards of excellence in coaching skills.
Maintaining an impeccable level of credibility for coaches includes hiring and working with a mentor coach periodically to enhance ongoing coach-specific education and professional credentialing processes.
Whether you're a new coach or experienced coach, mentor coaching is a way to expand your finesse and enliven your skill set. As your mentor coach, I will act as a wise and trusted advisor influencing and inspiring your excellence and coaching competency. Within the spirit of noble service and sacred trust, a mentor coach embodies a passionate commitment in equal parts to co-creation, to synergy, and to excellence, contributing to a dynamic legacy that serves the future of professional coaching with integrity, rigor and passion.
As you mentor I will listen to what is present in your skill set and explore what else is possible so that, over time, you will rapidly and easily increase your ability to artfully demonstrate the ICF core coaching competencies with excellence, confidence, competence and unique self-expression. As your Mentor Coach I will co-create opportunities for continuous learning and self-reflection as well as ongoing skills refinement tailored to your inner landscape and learning style.

"Helen has been extremely helpful as I make the transition from training to actually implementing my coaching skills with clients. Her experience provides solid ground for me to stand on when I feel unsure about what to do next. She provides practical ideas and a context that has helped me understand situations on my own. She provides a model of excellence in coaching practices. Most of all, she has reinforced my confidence in my own intuitive ability to see what can be done to support the client. Helen is a master coach and a wonderful mentor."
Candace Thompson, PCC, Collaborative Coaching Consortium “Through Helen’s feedback, knowledge, support and encouragement, I am very happy to have been awarded the ICF PCC designation”

"Helen has a wonderful teaching style, very supportive, reassuring and she focuses on what’s important in the learning, as well as builds on the group discussion. It was really beneficial to have mentoring on the groups real life coaching situations, to hear how Helen would work with different client situations and the group learning was powerful in leveraging lots of experiences."
BREAKTHROUGH TO RESULTS MENTOR SESSIONS:
For those of you interested in receiving specific feedback on your coaching development, as you build your coaching practice and/or prepare for ICF
exam. I am pleased to be able to offer you an opportunity to have some individualized feedback sessions to assist you in your growth and embodying both the ICF core competencies and deepening your coaching skill set.
How these work:
You will be partnered with 2 other students/coaches (3 coaches per pod) for 9 sessions, each session will be 60 minutes in length.
During each session there will be one coach, one coachee and one observer and as coach works with client, as your mentor I will interrupt as needed and give specific feedback on how to coach using other possible skills tools and how to demonstrate ICF core competencies throughout the session. You will have a opportunity to learn new skills from myself and from each other, as each coach will bring their unique background and experience to the coaching.
Each session will end with debrief of what coach did well, areas of strength and areas for improvement
Session will be recorded and each student will have access to the recording, to listen to and learn from.
Benefits
This type of feedback given directly in the moment where you can use it and see the direct impact on your client, allows coaches to quickly embody learning. You also have a unique opportunity to learn from your fellow coaches, as each of you have different areas of strengths and coaching techniques you use very effectively in your own practice. This form of mentoring creates very fast and effective learning and growth for the coaches involved and is a type of advanced coach training that many coaches seek but are not sure where to find it.
ICF MENTORING FOR CREDENTIALING:
Same format as above with extra two sessions at the end for assessments by MCC and reference letters of recommendation for ICF applications. (letters of recommendation are dependent on coach demonstrating level of proficiency required to pass credential level they are applying for, if coach requires more growth, MCC will advise on areas to work with)
Cost: $1295 for 11 sessions $895 for 9 sessions
